Location

The bed-and-breakfast establishment is situated in a residential and shopping area with good public transport facilities near to the city centre.
Tram 31 connects directly to Schottenring – 5 stops/8 minutes. From here the whole of the city centre as well as the most beautiful part of the historical Old Town (between Schottenring and the State Opera) is within easy walking distance.

Not only the city centre but also The Western Railway Station (Westbahnhof), The General Hospital (AKH – Allgemeines Krankenhaus), the recreational Danube Island are easily accessible on the U6 from Jäger Straße (4 minute walk).
Schönbrunn Palace (Schloß Schönbrunn), Theater an der Wien, the State Opera (Staatsoper) and the Airport Service CAT are also within easy reach from Friedensbrücke (5-6 minute walk) on the U4.

Shopping

There is a supermarket, cosmetic, hygiene & general purpose store (BIPA), Tobacconist and a bank in the adjoining buildings. Other shops for daily needs as well as fashion, flowers, shoes etc. are just around the corner in the Klosternueburger Straße.

Universities

The University of Economics including Institutes and Faculties is just a metro stop away on U6.

The University (1010 Wien, Dr.-Karl-Lueger-Ring 1) can best be reached by tram (No. 31 and 2) in ca. 15 minutes.
Das Technikum Wien (Technical Institutes) is only 3 stops away (tram no. 31).

Hospitals

The AKH - General Hospital – and the Lorenz Böhler Hospital can be reached directly on the U6.
